This is an original work – Koi fish, highly revered in Eastern Lore, are said that the largest and strongest make their way up a river to a waterfall known as the Dragon’s Gate. Only the most powerful, most capable, and lucky fish swim up the waterfall, past fishers, and arrows. Those that attain the top of the waterfall transform into dragons as their ultimate reward.
